SARASOTA: Rewarding mission-based positive service results, Mental Health Community Centers, Inc. recently received a check in the amount of $1,000 from TrustCo Bank, Glenville, New York.
“These funds are being sent in support of services to members from proceeds of our holiday promotion,” said Marketing Senior Officer, Adam Roselan.
MHCC offers vital psycho-social and recovery activities at drop-in centers in Sarasota, Venice, North Port and Arcadia for individuals diagnosed with mental health illnesses.
Mental Health Community Centers was founded over 40 years ago and has evolved from a resource center based in Sarasota to four Drop-in Centers in Sarasota, Venice, North Port and Acadia that provides daily training and support programs. The purpose of the organization is to provide services which assist persons with mental illness develop the skills and coping abilities needed to lead a healthy and productive lifestyle within the community.
